A lovely jersey but again a heartbreaking story behind this kit. Australia played a very successful football in the 80s, especially with their passionate manager Frank Arok by their side. To get a ticket for the World Cup has always been a hell of a story for the Socceroos with a long way to go. And again, after finished first in the 1985 Oceania Group, Australia had to face with Scotland a strong football team in 2 legs. The „Roos“ lost the away game in Glasgow and a draw at home meant to be their World Cup knockout.

Both countries have faced in total 16 times against each other with 5 wins for Australia, 8 draws and 3 losses. Australia has scored 18 times with 17 different goal scorers!
